Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- Authors must conform to e SEAPA editorial publication standards.
- Research on patients or voluntary participants require the approval of the ethics committee and, if it considers necessary, informed consent. Ethical approval must be reported in the Methods section of the manuscript.
- If written consent is required, copies should not be sent to the journal. In exceptional circumstances (e.g., if a legal issue arises) the authors must provide copies of the consent to the relevant authority as proof that it has been obtained. Personal data will not be included in any part of the paper, nor in supplementary material (including all illustrations and videos), unless authors had got written permission of the participants.
- The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest.
- If the work has been presented at a scientific event, it must be indicated in the cover letter.
- Ownership of the layout article will be transferred to SEAPA after signing the License Agreement for Publishing BY-NC.
- If funding exists, it has been declared in the manuscript.
Short Originals
This section includes short research papers.
Up to 1,500 words (excluding abstract, acknowledgments, bibliography, tables and figures), 20 references, 3 tables or figures.
The manuscript must be written in Arial, font size 11, with 1.5 line spacing. It is recommended to write the manuscript in accordance with the relevant guidelines (e.g. CONSORT for experimental studies; STROBE for observational studies, PRISMA for systematic reviews, SRQR for qualitative research, etc.). Authors can find the appropriate guidelines on the EQUATOR initiative website: https://www.equator-network.org/.

Abstract and keywords: originals, reviews and community experiences must have an abstract that does not exceed 250 words (150 for short originals). Abstracts must be structured with the following titles: Aim, methodology, results and conclusion. Non-standard or unusual abbreviations should be avoided, but if they are essential they should be defined at their first mention in the abstract itself. Three to six keywords should appear at the bottom of the abstract page. The keywords, in Spanish and English, will be contained in the DeCS (http://decs.bvs.br/E/homepagee.htm).
Main text: must include the following headings: introduction, methodology, results and discussion.

Tables, figures and images: these should be referenced in the text and included at the end of the document (each one on a new page). The images must be sent in electronic file in JPG, TIF or GIF format, in high resolution (minimum 300dpi). They must be original and authorized if people appear.

The author(s) must state, in the cover letter, that the submitted material has not been published and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. In this section, we welcome submissions describing activities and/or programs developed in the field of family and community nursing (e.g. local health promotion activities).

Copyright Notice
Authorship is a significant intellectual contribution to the article. RqR is committed against fraudulent authorship, including the use of "guest" authors (people who do not meet the authorship criteria but sign the work) and creation of “ghost” authors (people who, even meeting the authorship criteria, have been excluded from signing the work).
All signatories are responsible for the accuracy of the manuscript, although whoever assumes corresponding author will be the guarantor of the research described in the manuscript. Therefore, corresponding author guarantees on behalf of the rest of the signatories:
1) the accuracy, transparency and honesty of the data and information contained within the study
2) that no relevant information has been omitted
3) that all discrepancies between authors have been adequately resolved and described.
