Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • Authors must conform to e SEAPA editorial publication standards.
  • Research on patients or voluntary participants require the approval of the ethics committee and, if it considers necessary, informed consent. Ethical approval must be reported in the Methods section of the manuscript.
  • If written consent is required, copies should not be sent to the journal. In exceptional circumstances (e.g., if a legal issue arises) the authors must provide copies of the consent to the relevant authority as proof that it has been obtained. Personal data will not be included in any part of the paper, nor in supplementary material (including all illustrations and videos), unless authors had got written permission of the participants.
  • The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest.
  • If the work has been presented at a scientific event, it must be indicated in the cover letter.
  • Ownership of the layout article will be transferred to SEAPA after signing the License Agreement for Publishing BY-NC.
  • If funding exists, it has been declared in the manuscript.

Author Guidelines

The manuscript must be written in Arial, font size 11, with 1.5 line spacing. It is recommended to write the manuscript in accordance with the relevant guidelines (e.g. CONSORT for experimental studies; STROBE for observational studies, PRISMA for systematic reviews, SRQR for qualitative research, etc.). Authors can find the appropriate guidelines on the EQUATOR initiative website: https://www.equator-network.org/.

Experiencias Comunitarias

In this section, we welcome submissions describing activities and/or programs developed in the field of family and community nursing (e.g. local health promotion activities).
