Abstract
Objective: Our objective was to describe the satisfaction of tutors from companies and institutions regarding practices among health science students.
Method: Descriptive cross-sectional study. The sampling was non-probabilistic for convenience according to the willingness of the company tutors to participate in the study. The database of the satisfaction questionnaire of the technical quality unit of the university was used.
Results: A total of 123 undergraduate tutors and 20 master's tutors participated for the 2021-2022 academic year. And 478 undergraduate tutors and 128 master's tutors for the 2022-2023 academic year. In the study, high values were observed in the general satisfaction indices of the bachelor's and master's degrees. Good values were also obtained regarding communication with the academic tutor. However, one of the worst valued aspects was the adaptation of the academic training to the needs of the company or collaborating entity.
Conclusions: The satisfaction of tutors from companies and institutions regarding internships in health sciences students can be considered high, which reinforces the idea that carrying out internships in favorable environments together with the correct performance of the academic tutor's work, The company tutor and administrative staff motivate students and help them acquire knowledge.
